COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus Men's Tennis team wrapped up its 2026 season by dropping a 6-1 decision on senior day to Franklin & Marshall on Sunday afternoon at the Ace Bailey Tennis Courts.
Prior to the match, the Bears honored its lone senior
Andrei Bogdan as part of senior day ceremonies.
The Diplomats took all three doubles matches for the first point. Junior
Noah Dichter and first-year
Bogdan Maksimovic lost 6-1 to Luke Brodsky and Zac Ashtiani at No. 1 doubles before junior
Deniz Finkel and sophomore
Russell Nour were bested by Gonzalo Gentou and S. Rudin-Aulenbach by the same score at the No.2 spot. Bogdan and junior
Teddy Snyder dropped a tough 6-4 No. 3 match to Tucker Chesman and Nate Arnold.
Sophomore
Charles DiCicco highlighted singles by winning a thrilling No. 6 match 1-6, 6-3, 10-7 over Campbell Gervais. Nour was bested by Gentou 2-6, 0-6 at No. 4 singles and Bogdan lost 4-6, 2-6 to Rudin-Aulenbach at No. 3 singles. Snyder was downed by Donnelly at No. 2 singles 3-6, 4-6 and Finkel suffered a tough 4-6, 5-7 match to Ashtiani at the No. 1 spot. Dichter was defeated 2-6, 0-6 by Alonso at the No. 5 spot to round out action.
