SWARTHMORE, Pa. – The Ursinus Men's Lacrosse team took on Swarthmore on Wednesday night in Centennial Conference action.
The Garnet scored the first four goals of the game to go up 4-0 before senior
Chris Bryant ended the run with a goal at the 4:52-mark of the first quarter to make it 4-1. Sophomore
Daniel Rice countered a Garnet goal to make it 5-2 with 1:52 left in the first quarter and added a goal in the first minute of the second quarter that made it 5-3. Senior
Barrett Denlinger continued the Bears run with a goal and cut the deficit down to 5-4 at the 13:46-mark of the second quarter. However, the Garnet scored four straight goals to go up 9-4 before a tally from senior
Harry Sweitzer ended the run and made it 9-5. Swarthmore scored the last eight goals of the game to bring the final to 17-5.
The Bears return to action on Saturday, April 11
th as they will host No. 9 Gettysburg at 12:00 p.m.
