COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Sophomore
Nadly Gyapong highlighted the second and final day for Ursinus Women's Track & Field in hosting the 2026 AARTFC Championships at Patterson Field on Thursday by setting women's school record in the 200-meter dash.
Gyapong recorded a career best time of 24.80 in the 200-meter dash to make it the third time this season that the Bears women's outdoor 200 meters school record was topped. She bested the previous mark of 24.94 set by first-year
Sophia Pascale set in mid-April at Widener and finished third overall in the race.
Senior
Kaelin Ryan finished runner-up in the 100-meter hurdles by recording a time of 14.41 in the finals while Pascale placed sixth in the 400 meters with her time of 57.15. Gyapong, Pascale, and Ryan teamed up with first-year
Laela Middleton in the 4x100 relay and finished third on a time of 47.61.
Junior
Sam Wechsler finished fourth in the triple jump with her mark of 11.64 meters.
The Bears are expected to have senior
Kaelin Ryan competing in the 100-meter hurdles at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships next weekend in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The final qualifier list will be released on Friday, May 15th at 8:00 p.m.
