STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The Ursinus Women's Track & Field team began its 2025-26 indoor season at the Fasttrack National Invitational at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Friday afternoon that featured schools from all three NCAA Divisions.
In sprints, senior
Kaelin Ryan topped two Bears indoor school record in the 60-meter hurdles with her time of 8.98 in the prelims. In the finals, Ryan finished fifth with her time of 9.10. Ryan topped the previous record of 9.00 held by Victoria Goodenough in 2012.
Ryan also led a trio of Bears in the 200 meter dash by finishing second overall and was the top NCAA runner with her school record time of 25.49, topping her own school record seta year ago. First-year
Sophia Pascale impressed in third with her time of 25.79 and classmate
Laela Middleton placed 12
th with her time of 26.54. Senior
Jaycie Miller finished ninth in the 400 meter dash with her time of 1:01.54.

Alissa Joseph was the top Division III runner in the 800 meters and finished fourth overall in the race with her time of 2:29.73. Senior
Mia Sideris finished sixth in the 3,000 meters with her time of 10:12.73.
The 4x400 relay team of Miller, Middleton, Joseph, and Pascale also made some program history by shattering the indoor school record with their time of 4:01.10 and was the top Division III relay team in the race by placing third. It topped the previous time of 4:04.48 set by Kristen Prijs, Krista Snyder, Brittany Gasser, and Jenna Kelly.
Ursinus returns to action on tomorrow, December 6th as they will host the annual Bow Tie Invitational starting at 10:00 a.m.
