LANCASTER, Pa. - Five Ursinus College men's wrestlers officially were named to the All-Centennial team on Friday morning after standout performances at the Conference Championships last weekend.

Junior
Anthony Cerulli represented Ursinus on the first team after winning the 174-pound weight class last weekend. He holds a 30-11 record this season including a first-place finish at the Messiah and Will Abele Invitational, while placing fourth at the Racich Rumble. The Churchville, Pennsylvania currently ranks seventh in Region III and leads the team with 18 falls.

Franco Mazza (125lbs), sophomores
Andrew Schaen (141lbs),
Braden Kmak (165lbs), and junior
Nils Updale (184lbs) all attained All-Centennial second team honors by placing runner-up in their respective weight classes.

Mazza and Updale each repeated as second-team honorees while Schaen and Kmak made their debut on the All-Centennial team. Mazza, currently ranked sixth in the region supports a 24-14 record and will look to improve off a seventh-place finish at regionals last season. Updale secured a silver medal last season at conferences while wrestling at 197lbs and currently holds a 15-6 record at 184lbs this campaign.

After placing fourth at 141lbs last year, Schaen has shined for the Bears this season and currently sixth in region III. Schaen holds a 27-12 overall record, a 12-4 mark in dual meets, and has currently won 16 of his last 18 bouts. At 165lbs, Kmak placed second in his Centennial Championships debut, enters regionals with an 18-13 record, and is ranked sixth in the region. Kmak currently ranks second on the team with 15 of his victories coming by fall.

The Bears return to action tomorrow at 10 a.m. as they compete at the Mideast Futures Tournament, before heading to NCAA Mideast Regional Championships on Friday, February 28th.
