MANHEIM, Pa. – Seven members of the Ursinus College women's wrestling team were honored on the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) NCAA Scholar All-American list announced by the organization on Wednesday.

Emma Sagi each received the prestigious honor for the Bears. For Roskos, this is her third time being awarded the honor from the NWCA, while Hickman, Bloomfield, Fox, and Charlesworth repeated as Scholar All-Americans.
To achieve the honor, wrestlers must meet one of the three criteria; have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and be a NCWWC All-American, a 3.25 GPA and NCWWC National Qualifier, or 3.5 GPA and competed in at least 15 matches this season.
Roskos, a HEP major, holds the Bears' highest GPA at 3.95 and went 26-8 this season at 124 pounds. She is a two-time NCWWC National qualifier, became the first Bear to win a regional championship, and led Ursinus to a third-place finish overall.
Charlesworth, a Media and Communications major, has a 3.27 cumulative GPA and held an 11-4 record this season. After missing most of the season, Charlesworth returned to the mat at the Region Two Championships and delivered four victories by fall to secure a national tournament berth. At the NCWWC Championships, she went 2-2 at 145 pounds and became the first Bear to qualify for the tournament in each of her first two seasons.
Gavares is a math major, has a 3.52 cumulative GPA, and held a 19-9 record this season at 103lbs. She compiled a 9-1 record this season in dual meets and placed second at the Region Two Championships to secure her first ever appearance at the NCWWC Championships.
Bloomfield had a breakout sophomore season, totaling a 30-12 record and leading the Bears in victories. She holds a 3.94 GPA as a biology major and recorded a second-place finish at the Region Two Championships this season.
Fox holds a 3.83 GPA as a double major in Business Economics and Art. She ranked tied for second on the team this season in wins with a 27-13 record, while leading the team in falls with 21. Fox placed fifth at the Princeton Open, third at the Will Abele Open, and totaled a 13-4 record in dual meets this season.
Sagi shined in her rookie season in Collegeville, finishing with a 27-16 record at 138 pounds while bolstering a 3.66 GPA as a Science Major. She placed fifth at the NCWWC Region Two Championships and Will Abele Open, while tying for the team lead in falls with 21. Hickman a dual-sport athlete at Ursinus, holds a 3.72 GPA as a HEP/Pre-Engineering major.
The Bears closed out a historic season that saw the team set a program record in wins by finishing 13-5 in dual meets. Ursinus earned a pair of top-25 victories over Lock Haven University and Gannon University, while setting a program record with six national qualifiers.
