MANHEIM, Pa. – After defeating two nationally ranked opponents on Sunday, the Ursinus College women's wrestling team has made their first ever appearance in the National Dual rankings, announced by The Open Mat.
The Bears are currently ranked No. 22 after earning a 24-23 victory over No. 14 Lock Haven and a 24-19 decision over No. 23 Gannon University on Sunday. Ursinus currently holds a 10-5 record this season, marking a program record for wins in a season.
The Bears currently have nine wrestlers ranked within the top seven of their respective weight class in the latest National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) rankings. For Ursinus,

Olivia Guy (4th, 110),
Kalli Roskos (2nd, 124),
Stacy Bloomfield (3rd, 131),
Emma Sagi (5th, 138),
Paisley Fox (6th, 145),
Emma Matera (2nd, 160),
Gianna Perez (5th, 180), and
Evette Colon (7th, 207) are all ranked leading Ursinus to be ranked No. 3 as a team.

The Bears will return to action on Saturday, February 8th as they host a quad meet featuring Muhlenberg College, McDaniel College, and Alvernia University starting at noon.
