Wall Garners D3hoops.com Fifth Team All-American Honor

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - Ursinus Men's Basketball senior Trevor Wall added to an impressive postseason accolade list by earning Fifth Team All-American honors by D3hoops.com, announced by the website on Saturday afternoon during pregame coverage of the Division III National Championship game.
 
 
Wall becomes the fourth Ursinus men's basketball player in program history to garner the All-American nod from D3hoops.com after Dennis Stanton, Mike McGarvey, and most recently Nick Shattuck in 2008. This is the 28th year the website has selected and published an All-America team. These are chosen by D3hoops.com staff in consultation with All-Region voting results from players nominated for All-Region.
 
 
In addition to his All-American nod, Wall garnered first team D3hoops.com All-Region 5 First Team selection and National Association of Basketball Coaches All-District 5 First Team honors this past Tuesday. He began his postseason accolade run by earning his second straight All-Centennial First Team honor following the season and his fourth career All-Centennial nod.  
 
 
Wall saved his best season for last in his final year with the Bears. He repeated his Centennial Conference scoring title from the previous season year after leading the team at a career best 21.9 points per game and 592 total points. Wall scored in double-figures in every game this season and scored at least 20 points 18 times while having a pair of 30+ point games. He ranked sixth in the Centennial and led the team with a 49 percent field goal percentage and ranked sixth as well with 51 three-pointers. He was 10th in the league at 2.5 assists per game and tied for second in the Centennial with 2.5 steals per game. Wall sits fourth all time in the Ursinus career program history for points at 1,752/ He led the Bears to Centennial Conference Tournament appearances in all four seasons on the team with two of those teams making the Centennial Semifinals.
