COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Three Ursinus Men's Tennis members were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Men's Tennis team, announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.
Junior
Andrei Bogdan along with sophomores
Deniz Finkel and
Noah Dichter represented the Bears on the team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the classroom and on the field of competition. The three are making their CSC Academic All-District debuts.
Bogdan, a neuroscience major, finished the 2024-25 season with eight singles wins with four of them coming out of the No. 3 position. Bogdan tied for third on the team with six doubles wins with four coming out of the No. 2 spot He is also an ITA Scholar Athlete recipient. He has totaled 31 singles wins in his three years on the team.
A statistics major, Finkel tied for fourth on the team with eight singles wins in 2024-25 with four of the wins coming out of the No. 2 spot. He tied for second on the team with seven singles wins with three coming out of the No. 2 spot. Finkel won seven straight singles matches which started during the Bears Florida Spring Break trip into the early portion of April.
Dichter, a psychology major, ranked third on the team with nine singles wins during the 2024-25 season with five coming out of the No. 3 spot in his first full season in the starting Bears rotation. He tallied four doubles wins with three coming out of the No. 1 doubles spot.
