Full CSC Baseball Academic All-District Team
COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Recent Ursinus Baseball graduates
Jordan Williams and
Kieran Hollander were named to the Academic All District baseball team by the College Sports Communicators (CSC), that was announced on Tuesday afternoon.
The CSC Academic All-District baseball team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the classroom and on the field of competition. It is the third straight year that an Ursinus baseball player to be named to the CSC Academic All-District team.
Hollander put together his best career season in Ursinus by posting a team-low 3.47 ERA that was also the sixth-lowest in the Centennial Conference. He tied for the team lead with three wins and ranked second with a career-high 34 strikeouts in a team-high 57.0 innings pitched. He allowed just 27 runs (22 earned) and will conclude his career with six wins.
Williams also had a career best season by hitting a career-high .306 that ranked third on the team and ranked fourth on the team with 37 hits. He ranked second on the team with 32 runs scored and fourth with 23 RBI's while adding five doubles, two triples, and one home run. Williams ranked second on the team with 14 stolen bases and finished his time at Ursinus with 79 hits.
