MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Ursinus Women's Cross Country team returned to action by competing in the Wesleyan Cardinal Invitational on Saturday morning.
Facing a strong field, the Bears finished 13
th as a team with 327 points.
Senior
Mia Sideris had an outstanding race to lead the Bears as she finished 12
th overall with a career best 6K time of 22:14.61. Sophomore
Elizabeth Dill was second among the Bears runners with her time of 26:28.78 and first-year
Emi Loverdi crossed the line with a time of 26:31.86. Junior
Kira Wise finished fourth among Ursinus runners with a time of 26:38.28 while first-year
Cadence Shaw recorded a time of 26:47.40.
Sophomore
Aubrey Myers crossed the line with a time of 26:47.87and senior
Kirra Norling was one position behind with a 26:53.35. Sophomore
Julianna Mullen finished with a time of 26:56.39, senior
Corrine Martello placed with a 27:06.24, and sophomore
Lindsay Solomon rounded out the Bears with a time of 27:16.75.
The Bears return to action on Friday, October 3
rd as they will compete in the annual Lehigh Paul Short Run at 9:30 a.m.
