LEBANON, Pa. – The Ursinus Women's Cross Country team went back to work at the Lebanon Valley Dutchmen Invitational on a humid Saturday morning at Union Canal Tunnel Park.
The Bears finished ninth among the 18 schools that qualified for team scoring with 218 points. The field featured schools from all three NCAA Divisions led by Navy in first place with 23 points.
Fresh off winning the Bryn Mawr Invitational, senior
Mia Sideris earned a top-10 finish on the 5k course with a time of 18:48.1 to easily top her fastest 5k mark from last week. First-year
Cadence Shaw was second on the team and 51st overall after crossing the line at 20:59.6 while sophomore
Lindsay Solomon was third on the team and 86th overall with a time of 22:15.4. Sophomore
Julianna Mullen was right behind Solomon in 87th with a time of 22:18.7 and classmate
Elizabeth Dill rounded out the Bears top-five with a time of 22:29.9 in 89th overall.
First-year
Emi Loverdi finished with a time of 22:31.2 in 92nd overall and senior
Kirra Norling crossed the line in 98th with her time of 22:44.7. Senior
Corrine Martello posted a time of 22:54.3 and first-year
Melody McDonough recorded a time of 22:58.0.
Sophomore
Aubrey Myers (23:07.4), junior
Kira Wise (33:26.7), sophomore
Nicole Parisi (23:45.5), first-year
Addison Hessler (24:23.0) and first-year
Nyanah Campbell (24:54.4) finished the Bears times.
The Bears have a week off before returning to action on Saturday, September 20th as they will compete in the Wesleyan Cardinal Invitational starting at 11:00 a.m.
