COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Six Ursinus men's wrestlers were named to the All-Centennial Conference team Friday morning following standout performances at the Centennial Conference Championships last weekend.
Seniors
Anthony Cerulli and
Nils Updale, along with junior
Mohamed Abdelatty, represented Ursinus on the first team, while senior
Michael Adams and juniors
Andrew Schaen and
Braden Kmak earned second-team all-conference honors.
Cerulli cruised through the 174-pound bracket, earning a first-period fall and a technical fall in the finals to capture his second career gold medal at the Centennial Conference Championships. The Churchville, Pennsylvania native is 34-7 on the season, leads the team with 25 falls, and is ranked fourth in the regional rankings by the National Wrestling Coaches Association.
Updale earned his first Centennial title after runner-up finishes in 2024 and 2025. He opened with a 10-0 major decision before tallying a 13-4 major decision in the finals to improve to 25-5 on the season. The Doylestown, Pennsylvania, native has won 11 of his last 12 matches and is ranked sixth in Region III at 184 pounds.
Abdelatty, ranked second in Region III and 11th nationally, collected his first career conference championship after placing third last season at 285 pounds. He recorded a pair of first-period pins to improve to 26-1 on the season and extended his winning streak to 20 matches.
After placing third in 2025, Adams finished second at 125 pounds to garner second-team all-conference honors. The Staten Island, New York, native is 24-8 on the season and will enter regionals ranked sixth in Region III.
At 141 pounds, Schaen repeated as a second-team selection after finishing with a 1-1 record at the championships. He is 33-7 this season and ranked fifth in Region III. Kmak rounded out the All-Centennial selections for Ursinus, posting his second straight runner-up finish at 157 pounds. He is ranked second in the region and owns a 36-7 record this season, while ranking second on the team with 20 falls.
The Bears return to action Sunday, February 22nd, at the Mideast Futures Tournament.
