LANCASTER, Pa. – The Ursinus Women's Track & Field team began the 2026 Centennial Conference Indoor Championships by crowning a relay champion on Saturday at Franklin & Marshall.
The 4x200 relay team of first-year
Sophia Pascale, first-year
Laela Middleton, sophomore
Nadly Gyapong, and senior
Kaelin Ryan won gold behind a school, Centennial, and meet record time of 1:42.31. The time bested the previous Centennial and meet record set by Dickinson at the 2024 Centennial Indoor Championships and they are the first 4x200 Ursinus women's relay team to win gold since 2020.
Ryan also had a big day individually by setting the school and Centennial Meet record in the 60-meter hurdles prelims on a time of 8.81. She is seeded first headed into the finals tomorrow and now owns the 16th best time in all of Division III for the event. Ryan will be joined in the hurdle finals with classmate
Juniper Bauroth-Sherman who earned the final spot with a personal best time of 9.86. Pascale and Gyapong earned spots in the 60 meter dash finals on times of 7.84 (PB) and 7.96, respectively.
Junior
Sam Wechsler earned the bronze medal in the triple jump on her mark of 10.58 and was followed by two teammates in sophomore
Emily Barlam and first-year
Arnie Etienne. Barlam was fourth on a 10.46 meter jump and Etienne was fifth at 10.44 meters.
Junior
Hannah Quinn recorded a season best throw in the weight throw at 14.04 meters and finished fourth overall to lead the throwers. Bauroth-Sherman placed fifth in the pole vault on a personal best mark of 3.17 meters.

Alissa Joseph placed fourth on a time of 9:59.85 and the Distance Medley Relay team of sophomore
Elizabeth Dill, senior

Emi Loverdi finished eighth on a time of 13:44.25.
The second and final day of Indoor Championships will start at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow, March 1st.
