GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Ursinus Women's Track & Field team began competition at the 2026 Centennial Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday afternoon at Gettysburg.
The Bears finished the first day in fourth place with 11 points. Johns Hopkins currently paces the field with 45 points.
Senior
Mia Sideris claimed the first individual medal of her career at Centennial Championships by placing third in the 10,000 meters with a personal best time of 37:19.13. Senior
Brooke Richards placed 16th on her time of 43:03.06.
Senior
Juniper Bauroth-Sherman led a trio of Bears in the pole vault by placing sixth after clearing the bar at 3.35 meters. Sophomore
Mia Bompensa was right behind in seventh at 3.20 meters and senior
Lucy Cornett recorded a mark of 2.75 meters.
In the hammer throw, junior
Hannah Quinn placed 10th with her mark of 39.99 meters and sophomore
Addison Rogers posted a throw of 24.59 meters.
Ursinus returns to day two tomorrow, May 2nd with the first events going off at 10:00 a.m. from Gettysburg.
