Sophia Curtis earned a spot on USA Lacrosse Magazine Division III All-American Honorable Mention team, announced by the publication on Wednesday afternoon.
Curtis punctuated her Ursinus career with one of the best season's by a defender in the program's history in 2026. She recorded a career best 41 caused turnovers that tied for second most all-time in a single season in program history and led the Centennial Conference in the regular season. She posted a Centennial best 2.41 caused turnovers per game and ranked second on the team and is ninth in the Centennial with 40 ground balls.
The Yardley native garnered All-Centennial Conference First Team honors for the first time in her career and posted at least three caused turnovers in eight games this season. Curtis started in all 69 games of her career and will finish fourth all-time in Ursinus history with 77 caused turnovers and with 104 career ground balls.
