GETTYSBURG, Pa. –The Ursinus Women's Track & Field team continued their competition on the second day at the Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday at Gettysburg.
After two days, the Bears sit seventh in the team standings with 23 combined points.
The Bears claimed their second medal of the weekend as junior
Emily Barlam finished third in the long jump at 5.21 meters to replicate her bronze in the event at the Indoor Championships. Junior
Sam Wechsler was fifth in the long jump at 5.06 meters and sophomore
Sam Leo posted a jump of 4.47 meters.
Senior
Kaelin Ryan loaded up her defense of her Centennial Most Outstanding Women's Track Performer from last season by locking up finalist spots in the 100-meter hurdles and 200 meters. She narrowly topped her school record in the 100 hurdles by .01 at 14.36 to win the prelims and finished fourth in the 200 prelims at 25.92. Sophomore
Nadly Gyapong won the 200-meter prelims with her time of 25.30 and senior
Juniper Bauroth-Sherman will join Ryan in the 100 hurdles finals by finishing fourth in the prelims on a personal best time of 16.23. First-year
Sophia Pascale won the 400 meters prelims on her time of 57.38 as she seeks to sweep the event for the indoor and outdoor championships. First-year Allie Severino qualified for the 400-meter hurdle finals by finishing eighth for the last spot on a personal best time of 1:09.46.

Sarah Sulzer placed 10th in the 400-meter hurdles on her personal best time of 1:11.09 and finished 12th in the 100 meter hurdles prelims on a time of 17.54, Bauroth-Sherman raced in the 200 meters and placed 13th on her time of 27.18, and senior
Jaycie Miller placed 10th in the 400 meters prelims on her time of 1:00.41.

Alissa Joseph placed 13th in the 800 meters prelims on a time of 2:24.20 and sophomore
Aubrey Myers was 15th at 2:27.79. Sophomore
Lindsay Solomon finished 17th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase on a personal best time of 13:12.41. Senior
Amanda Traska finished 11th in the high jump at 1.37 meters and junior
Hannah Quinn was 13th in the discus at 34.88 meters while classmate
Randi Wood was 16th at 31.48 meters.

Elizabeth Dill finished seventh on a time of 10:03.10.
The Bears will wrap up the Centennial Championships tomorrow, May 3rd with the first event going off at 11:00 a.m.
