COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Five members of the Ursinus College baseball team earned All-Centennial Conference honors, the conference office announced Thursday morning.

Luke Kopec garnered honorable mention accolades.
Bass was sensational for Ursinus in his final year in Collegeville, earning his second Centennial Conference honor after receiving honorable mention recognition in 2024. Bass led the conference with 75 innings pitched while ranking second in ERA (3.72), strikeouts (62), and third in batting average against (.229). He started 10 games for the Bears, finishing with a 6-4 record while leading the Centennial with three complete games.
The Berkleigh Heights, New Jersey, native opened the season with four shutout innings against Misericordia before not allowing an earned run over five appearances totaling 28 1/3 innings from March 18 through April 11. During that stretch, Bass threw complete-game shutouts against Washington College and Swarthmore College, scattering just five hits over 14 innings pitched.
In his Centennial Conference playoff debut this season, Bass led Ursinus to a 9-1 victory over Washington College behind a complete-game effort, allowing one earned run and striking out five batters. For his career, Bass ranks second in program history in innings pitched (230.2), third in strikeouts (203) and earned 16 victories over four seasons.
Shilstone made his debut on the All-Centennial team after transitioning into a starter's role for the Bears this season. The San Rafael, California, native finished with a 5-1 record and led the Centennial in ERA (3.00) and batting average against (.207). Shilstone made 14 appearances, including five starts, totaling 48 innings pitched and one complete game.
His season was highlighted by his final two starts. Shilstone clinched a playoff berth for Ursinus with a complete-game victory over No. 8 Johns Hopkins, allowing four hits and three earned runs. In his final career start, Shilstone helped Ursinus reach the Centennial Conference championship game by pitching seven innings and allowing three earned runs in a 6-4 victory over McDaniel, sending the Bears to their first conference championship game since 2017.
Barrett had a breakout rookie season for the Bears, becoming the first Ursinus first-year player to earn All-Centennial honors since Alex Mumme received honorable mention recognition in 2017. He garnered second-team honors after starting all 44 games for Ursinus this season and hitting .358 while leading the team with 52 RBIs, breaking Mumme's single-season program record of 45 set in 2019.
Barrett led the Centennial in triples (6) while ranking second on the team in hits (63), home runs (3), total bases (92) and slugging percentage (.523). He also ranked third on the squad with 14 stolen bases. The Hartsville, Pennsylvania, native totaled 18 multi-hit games and led the team with 15 multi-RBI performances. Barrett carried an 18-game hitting streak from April 7 through May 2 and posted a .931 fielding percentage over 160 chances. Against Rutgers-Camden on March 7, Barrett recorded a career-high five hits in the Bears' 16-4 victory over the Scarlet Knights. He also tallied a career-high four RBIs in an 8-3 victory over No. 9 Johns Hopkins, highlighted by a three-run home run that gave Ursinus the lead for good en route to clinching a Centennial Conference playoff berth.
Sullivan earned his second career All-Centennial honor after receiving second-team recognition last season. He started all 44 games in center field for Ursinus, leading the team with 58 runs scored, 36 walks, 28 stolen bases and a .491 on-base percentage. His 58 runs ranked fifth in the Centennial, while his 36 walks ranked fourth.
Serving as the catalyst atop the Bears lineup, Sullivan totaled 21 multi-hit games, including a team-best seven three-hit performances. The Middletown, Delaware, native recorded a hit in each of the first eight games of the season. During spring break, he posted five consecutive multi-hit games and scored two or more runs in 18 contests this year.
Kopec started all 44 games in left field for Ursinus, leading the team with five home runs, 12 doubles, 94 total bases and a 1.040 OPS. He also ranked second on the team with 15 stolen bases, 50 runs scored, 29 walks and a .367 batting average. Kopec totaled 18 multi-hit games, including a 4-for-6 performance with a team single-game season-high six RBIs in the Bears' victory over Widener. The Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, native reached base safely in each of the first 18 games of the season while hitting .392 with four home runs and 25 RBIs in Centennial Conference play.
The Bears closed out a tremendous season with a 25-18-1 overall record and qualified for the Centennial Conference Championships for the first time since 2017.
