COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College women's tennis team fell to Gettysburg by a score of 6-3 on Saturday afternoon in conference play, falling to 4-9 on the year.

The team opened with a win at first flight doubles as the team of senior Julia Kurtz (Spring City, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) and sophomore Jessica Tyrrell (Shamong, N.J./Seneca) defeated Katie Taylor and Bev Keyes, 8-6.

In singles play, sophomore Caroline Lippe (Hummelstown, Pa./Hershey) defeated Keyes at fifth flight, 6-2, 6-0, with junior Dana McDonough (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) defeating Kesley Boyce 6-3, 0-6, 10-6 at number six flight.
