Box Score HOBOKEN, N.J. – The Ursinus College women's soccer team fell to Stevens 3-0 on Saturday morning in the opening day of the Stevens Engineering Cup.
The host Ducks (2-1) scored in the first minute of play at Kathleen Shuckers hit from the middle of the field, followed by a Schuckers assist on the second goal of the game in the sixth minute for a 2-0 lead.
Stevens added one more in the 71st minute for the 3-0 margin.
For Ursinus (1-3), sophomore goalkeeper Kara DiJoseph (Turnersville, N.J./Washington Township) had five saves in the loss. The Bears will take on New York University Sunday afternoon.
