COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The hottest day of the year to date also provided us with a lot of action as the Ursinus College women's tennis team closed their home schedule with a 5-4 win over Moravian.

For Ursinus (5-12), the Bears took two of three singles matches. At number two flight, Dana McDonough and Audrey Whitebloom defeated Carly Agrifolio and Erica Venuti, 8-5, while Jami Dumler and Renee Tornea defeated Brianna Kavanagh and Olivia Sonnabend at number three flight, 8-4.

At number two singles, Jessica Tyrrell defeated Agrifolio, 6-3, 6-1, while McDonough took care of Kavanagh at number four flight, 6-3, 4-6, 10-3.

At number six flight, Tornea defeated Sonnabend, 6-4, 6-4.
