COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College baseball team dropped a 10-8 non-conference decision to Delaware Valley on Wednesday afternoon.

The Bears led early on a sacrifice RBI by freshman Chris Jablonski, but, Delaware Valley plated seven runs in the top of the fourth inning to take the lead for good. 

Jablonski finished 3-for-4 with three runs scored, while senior shortstop Jake Kohler finished the day 3-for-3 with a double and four RBI.

On the hill, senior Allen Weaver, who made only his second career start, pitched three innings and took the loss. He struck out three, walked three and allowed four earned runs.

Ursinus goes to F&M on Friday, then hosts Dickinson on Saturday in a Centennial doubleheader.
