Box Score WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – The Ursinus College women's tennis team split a pair of matches on Tuesday in Florida, dropping an 8-1 decision to St. Scholastica, before bouncing back to defeat Seton Hill, 7-2 during their trip to Central Florida.
In the St. Scholastica match, junior Christina Cromwell was the lone winner, winning her match at number five flight, 6-1, 4-6, 10-6.
Against Seton Hill, Ursinus won all three doubles and four of six singles matches in the win. Senior Heather McMasters and Cromwell teamed up at number one flight to win 8-7, while the team of sophomore BreAnna Bashaw and sophomore Stephanie-Jane Seabra won at number two flight, 8-3. Junior Audrey Whitebloom and freshman Christine Palazzolo at number three flight on 8-2.
In singles play, Bashaw, Seabra, Cromwell and freshman Robin Alsher all won their matches.
