ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College women's tennis team moved its record to 8-1 with a 7-2 non-conference win over Lebanon Valley on Saturday afternoon.

The Bears swept all three doubles matches, as the first flight team of Ashley Nguyen and Aileen Bevard defeated Nicole Kracum and Mary Kate Lemon, 9-8, with the tiebreaker going the way of the Bears 7-2.

Ariel Danziger and Audrey Whitebloom defeated Brittany Dierwechter and Marla Scacchitti, 8-1 at number two flight, with BreAnna Bashaw and Christina Cromwell defeating Ariana Freeman and Lori Noble, 8-2, at number three flight.

In singles play, Whitebloom won her match at number two flight, 4-6, 6-0, 10-4, over Noble, with Bashaw winning 6-2, 6-2, at number three flight over Kracum. Bevard defeated Scacchitti at number five flight, 6-0, 6-1, with Danziger defeating Olivia Edwards at number six flight, 6-2, 6-4.
