Box Score COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Heading into the final week of the season, the Ursinus College women's tennis team continues to build upon a record-breaking season, winning their 12th match with a 7-2 decision over Albright on Saturday.
The Bears went up 2-1 after doubles as the team of Audrey Whitebloom and Ariel Danziger defeated Elizabeth Bengtsson and Amanda Camporeale, 8-2 at number two flight, while BreAnna Bashaw and Christina Cromwell defeated Erin Sullivan and Christina Peacock, 8-3 at number three flight.
In singles competition, Ashley Nguyen defeated Brooke Ronney at number one flight, 6-2, 6-0, while Stephanie-Jane Seabra defeated Erin Sullivan at number three flight, 6-1, 6-0. Robin Alsher was a winner at number four flight, 6-0, 6-1 over Camporeale.
At number five flight, Christine Palazzolo defeated Bengtsson in straight sets, while Christie Pawl defeated Peacock at number six flight, 6-0, 6-1.
