NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Ursinus Indoor Men's Track & Field team wrapped up competition in the two-day AARTFC Championships at the New York City Armory on Saturday.
Junior
Tucker McGrath highlighted the day by topping his own record in the mile by over a second with a time of 4:19.64. McGrath finished 10th overall in the event which included 24 runners.
A pair of Bears competed in the weight throw as senior
Isaiah Battle finished third with his throw of 57-9.50 ft. Classmate
Tim Holzapfel registered a throw of 52-3.25 ft. and finished 15th overall.
The Bears will now await to see if any student-athletes qualified for the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships next weekend in Birmingham, Alabama.
