SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Ursinus Men's Track & Field wrapped up their time in the two-day All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Championship (AARTFC) at Moravian University on Thursday.
Eight Bears competed on the last day in the final meet before NCAA Championships next week in Rochester, N.Y.
Seniors
Isaiah Battle and
Tim Holzapfel competed in the hammer throw and Battle led the pair with a throw of 52.66 meters to finish 10th overall. Holzapfel placed 18th with his throw of 48.73 meters. Battle also led a pair of throwers in the shot put on his throw of 14.27 meters while sophomore
Tom Wood recorded a throw of 13.86 meters.
The Bears had two athletes compete in the 400 meter hurdles with junior
Devon Greaves posting a time of 55.97 and sophomore
Mason Jolivette recording a time of 58.28.
Junior
Tucker McGrath recorded a time of 4:02.73 in the 1500 meters while sophomores
Paul Faggioli and
Christian Rosado posted times of 1:55.46 and 1:58.96, respectively in the 800 meters.
The Bears are expected to have the Men's 4x400 relay team of junior
Collin Ney, freshman
Aiden Tobin, senior
Daniel Tabor, and senior
Payton Stanziani competing in the 2023 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships next weekend at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, N.Y.
