COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus Men's Track & Field team hosted its annual Bow Tie Invitational at the Floy Lewis Bakes Center on Saturday to complete a split squad weekend.
The Bears saw four athletes win their respective events at the meet as they continued their opening weekend of the indoor season.
Junior
Aiden Tobin claimed the top spot in the 60 meter dash after crossing the line with a time of 7.10, which was .16 faster than his prelims time. Junior
Eddie Weick was the second Bear that qualified for the 60 meter dash and posted a career best time of 7.42 and finished 10th overall.

David Piotrowski led a 1-2 finish in the high jump with his personal best jump of 1.85 meters and sophomore
Jaxon Geddio was second. Ursinus swept the top spot in both throwing events as senior
Tom Wood claimed the shot put with a mark of 15.40 meters while classmate
Chase Shaneman took the weight throw with his mark of 15.16 meters. Wood finished fourth in the weight throw with his mark of 13.06 meters and led a string of four straight Ursinus finishers. First-year
Noah Sanders was fifth with a throw of 12.88 meters, sophomore
Carter Kensil placed sixth with a personal best throw of 12.49 meters, and sophomore
Luke Skinner completed the run with his throw of 11.53 meters. Kensil placed third in the shot put with his mark of 12.83 meters and senior
Davonte Hinds also earned a top-10 for the event at a throw of 12.09 meters.
Four Bears posted top-10 finishes in the 60-meter hurdles, led by senior
Devon Greaves in second with his time of 9.10. First-year
Kyle Cummings was third at a 9.17 and junior
Patrick Ryan rounded out the top five on his time of 9.29. Sophomore
Devon Bock placed sixth at a 9.32 and senior
Ethan Chambers was seventh with his time of 10.06.

Justice Scheidel placed fourth in the 800 meters with his time of 2:09.33 and Bock finished eighth with his personal best time of 2:13.40. Chambers finished ninth with his time of 2:14.99 and first-year
Aaron Foy placed 11th with a time of 2:17.74.
Junior
Cole Jackson led the Bears in a pair of jumping events with a third place finish in the triple jump on a personal best mark of 13.28 meters and fifth in the long jump at a mark of 6.16 meters. Junior
Sean Bowers paced Ursinus in the pole vault with a third place finish after clearing the bar at 3.50 meters. Chambers was fifth (3.05m), junior
Noah Berger was seventh (2.75m), Bock placed eighth (2.60m) in the pole vault.
The Bears have a month off before returning to action on Sunday, January 19th by hosting the Collegeville Classic at 10:00 a.m.
