NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Ursinus Men's Track & Field team completed one of the most successful regional weekends in program history on Day two of the AARTFC Championships at the New York Armory on Saturday.
The Bears recorded their highest finish as a team in program history in third behind amassing 38 points between the two days.
First-year
Noah Tapler recorded a fourth-place finish in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.94 that was just a tick off his school record time of 6.91 in the prelims yesterday. Senior
Aiden Tobin placed sixth in the 200-meter dash with his time of 22.07.
Sophomore
Noah Sanders placed fourth in the weight throw after recording a throw of 18.31 meters and junior
Carter Kensil recorded a throw of 14.25 meters.
Senior
Liam Johnston placed 14th in the mile on a time of 4:23.93 and the 4x200 relay team of Tapler, Tobin, sophomore
Kyren Young, and junior
James Long-Stratton finished fourth with their time of 1:29.73.
The Bears will now await tomorrow to see if they have any athletes qualified for the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Championships next week in Birmingham, Alabama.
