LANCASTER, Pa. – The Ursinus Women's Track & Field team earned a pair of medals on the first day of the 2024 Centennial Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday at Franklin & Marshall's Schnader Field House.
The Bears sit in fifth overall in the team standings with 29 points while Johns Hopkins sits in first place with a 102 points.
The 4x200 relay team of senior
Rainah Dunham, sophomore
Tashyah Sample, sophomore
Kaelin Ryan, and first-year
Sam Wechsler won the silver medal with a time of 1:48.03. It was the best finish for a Bears 4x200 team since the last gold medal winning team during the 2020 Championships.
Dunham brought home the Bears other medal of the day with a bronze in the triple jump with a mark of 11.73 meters. Wechsler was behind Dunham in fourth after jumping at 11.09 meters while also qualifying for the 60 meter hurdle finals on a time of 9.26 that placed her fourth.

Jacqueline Allen finished seventh in the weight throw on a mark of 13.59 meters and sophomore
Juniper Bauroth-Sherman placed fifth in the pole vault after clearing the bar at 3.01 meters.
The second and final day of the 2024 Centennial Conference Indoor Championships starts at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow, February 25th.
