ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Senior Brooke Adams topped the Ursinus Women's Track & Field Indoor 800 meters record to highlight the Bears at the two-day AARTFC Indoor Track & Field Championships this weekend at Nazareth College.
 
 
Adams recorded a time of 2:17.06 to top the previous school record set by Brittany Gasser in 2019 with her mark of 2:17.20. She now holds the third fastest time in the metro region to certify All-Region honors.
 
 
Senior Jacqueline Allen recorded a throw of 11.65 meters in the shot put on Friday afternoon and finished 16th overall and first-year Sam Wechsler placed 10th in the 60 meter hurdle prelims with a season best time of 9.18. Wechsler also had a personal best mark on Saturday in the triple jump with a mark of 11.45 meters and finished sixth overall.
 
 
The Bears will now await the announcement of the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championship bids tomorrow night. The meet will take place starting Saturday, March 8th at Virginia Beach.
