CSC Academic All-District MBB Team
COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Three members of the Ursinus Men's Basketball team were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) All-District team, announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.
Senior
Beau Everett, junior
Cole Grubbs, and sophomore
Nick Nocito represented the Bears on the team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the classroom and on the field of competition.
Everett, a business and economics major was a mainstay in the Bears lineup over the past three seasons as he appeared in 73 games and made eight total starts. Everett was one of the best defenders on the team as he racked up 70 steals in three seasons while finishing his career with 286 points and 122 rebounds. Everett has been a standout in the classroom as well by being named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honor court in 2023.
An applied economics major, Grubbs earned his second straight CSC Academic All-District nod after another strong year in the classroom. Grubbs led the team with 6.2 rebounds, shot 56.5 percent from the field, and led the team with 44 blocks. He averaged 6.7 points per game and set a new career-high with 18 points scored against Haverford back in late November. Grubbs ranked third in the Centennial in blocks per game and eighth in rebounds per game.
Nocito, a health and exercise physiology major, elevated his game from his breakout collegiate debut season that saw him be named the Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year. He ranked second on the team at 11.1 points per game and scored in double-figures on 13 occasions. Nocito ranked eighth in the Centennial conference in 1.6 three-point field goals made per game and ranked second on the team with 35 three-pointers made. He finished the year with a new career-high of 245 points despite missing the first four games of the season. Nocito also tied for second on the team with 2.2 assists per game as well.
