LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Ursinus Men's Track & Field team wrapped up its weekend at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic on Sunday afternoon.
In sprints, sophomore
Aiden Tobin competed in a pair of events on Sunday. He started his day by recording a time of 10.86 in the 100 meter dash which was just off his school record time set two weeks ago. He was fourth among Division III runners and 28th overall. Later in the afternoon, Tobin put together a blazing time of 21.48 that paced all Division III runners and finished fourth overall in the middle of Division I and II runners. First-year
Riley Ford competed in the 100 and 200 meters as well and tallied personal best times of 11.19 and 22.59, respectively. Junior
Mason Jolivette tallied a time of 22.56 to round out the Bears in the 200 meters.
Senior
Daniel Tabor led a trio of Bears in the 400 meter dash behind his personal best time of 48.28 that was fourth fastest among Division III runners, the current fastest time for the event in the Centennial Conference, and fourth fastest in the Metro Region. Senior
Payton Stanziani posted a time of 49.40 while Jolivette registered a career best time of 49.81.
First-year
Zorion Ferreira competed in a pair of hurdle events on Sunday which started with posting a time of 16.08 in the 110-meter hurdles. Ferreira recorded a time of 59.39 in the 400 meter hurdles which was second on the team to senior
Devon Greaves, who crossed the line at 58.28.
Juniors
Tom Wood and
Chase Shaneman represented the Bears in the hammer throw as Wood led the duo behind a mark of 41.63 meters. Shaneman was close behind Wood at a throw of 41.03.
Ursinus returns to action on Friday, April 19th as they will begin the two-day Widener Invitational at 3:00 p.m.
