STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The Ursinus Men's Track & Field team opened its 2025-26 season at the Fasttrack National Invitational at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Friday afternoon that featured schools from all three NCAA Divisions.
Sophomore
Mitchell Davis highlighted the meet by repeating his pole vault title in the meet from a year ago by topping his indoor school record mark by clearing the bar at 5.01 meters. It was the first time in his career Davis topped five meters between the indoor and outdoor seasons

Aiden Tobin finished fifth in the 200 meter dash with his time of 21.97 that was second among Division III runners. A trio of Bears competed in the 60-meter hurdles led by sophomore
Kyle Cummings with a time of 8.87. Senior
Patrick Ryan was just .01 off of Cummings with his time of 8.88 and junior
Dylan Baer posted a time of 9.15.

Liam Johnston ranked second among Division III runners and seventh overall in the mile after posting a time of 4:20.24. First-year
Ramon Martinez finished 11
th in the 800 meters with his time of 1:58.32 that was third among Division III runners.

David Piotrowski was the lone jumper in the meet for the Bears as he finished 14
th in the high jump after clearing the bar at 1.75 meters.
The Bears return to action on tomorrow, December 6th as they will host the annual Bow Tie Invitational starting at 10:00 a.m.
