All-Academic Teams
NEW ORLEANS – The Ursinus College men's track and field team was named an All-Academic Team by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) while
Jayden McKeen received All-Academic Athlete recognition, the organization announced on Monday.
To earn All-Academic Team status, the cumulative grade-point average of all student-athletes who used a season of eligibility must be at least 3.1. The Bears earned a 3.22 GPA, marking the seventh consecutive season of All-Academic Team laurels under head coach Carl Blickle in his final season with the team.

Daniel Magallanes, McKeen, and
Luke Skinner were all named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the spring.
McKeen made the All-Academic Athlete roster for the second straight year which honors student-athletes who have maintained at least a 3.30 cumulative GPA and rank among the top-50 individuals or top-35 relay units in the nation.
McKeen had another dynamic season for the Bears as he capped it off by finishing third in the javelin at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in late May for All-American First Team honors. McKeen led both the Centennial Conference and Metro Region in the javelin with his career best throw of 68.31 meters set at the Ursinus Track & Field Festival in early April. He earned his second straight silver medal for the event at the Centennial Outdoor Championships and was named the Centennial Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Year. He became a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-American while earning spots on the CSC Academic All-District team, Academic All-Centennial team, Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll, and PhillySIDA Academic All-Area team.
