LEWISBURG, Pa. – Senior
Rainah Dunham toppled her one week old Ursinus Women's Track & Field triple jump school record to highlight the teams second and final day at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic on Sunday afternoon.
Dunham shattered her mark from a week ago by 0.64 meters with a jump of 12.51 meters that sits second in all of NCAA Division III. Dunham finished third overall and second to the Division III athletes competing in the event. Johns Hopkins Victoria Kadiri set the Division III women's triple jump record with her jump of 13.43 meters. Dunham easily paces the triple jump in the Metro region as well.
First-year
Sam Wechsler topped her personal best in the triple jump as well on her mark of 11.53 meters and finished fifth among Division III athletes. Wechsler's mark is fourth best in the Centennial Conference and third in the Metro Region. Wechsler also set a personal best in the 100 meter hurdles with her time of 15.19 that was fifth fastest among Division III athletes and 26th overall.
Sophomores
Tashyah Sample and
Kaelin Ryan competed in the 400 meters and Sample led the duo with a personal best time of 59.95. Ryan also set a personal best time of 1:01.61 and posted a time of 26.87 in the 200 meters as well.
The Bears return to action on Friday, April 19th as they will begin the two-day Widener Invitational at 3:00 p.m.
