Box Score HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Ursinus Bears women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 match to Haverford on Wednesday afternoon in Centennial Conference action.
 
 
 
Haverford snatched all three doubles points to take the early 3-0 lead in the match. Sophomore Bella Vassalluzzo and senior Claire Burke suffered an 8-1 setback to Rachael Fitzgerald and Abhishree Menon at the No. 2 position before first-years Caroline Daly and Julia Nitz fell 8-2 to Erika Phanord and Summer Williams at No. 3 doubles. Senior Avery Samer and junior Allie Armour suffered an 8-2 setback to Abbey Russano and Ellie Esterowitz at the No. 1 spot.
 
 
 
In singles, Burke was defeated 1-6, 0-6 by Emily Oh at the No. 2 spot while Samer was downed by Menon at the No. 3 position 0-6, 1-6. Daly suffered a 1-6, 2-6 loss to Krishnan at No. 4 singles and Armour dropped a 3-6, 0-6 decision to Mary Lavin playing out of the No. 1 singles spot. First-year Fionna Finnerty dropped a 0-6, 0-6 No. 6 singles to Annie Barrett and sophomore Kate Rubinkam fell 1-6, 3-6 to Phanord at No. 5 singles.
 
 
 
 The Bears will return to action on Saturday, March 6th as they will travel to face Dickinson in Centennial action at 1:00 p.m.
