CORTLAND, N.Y. –The Ursinus Women's Track & Field team began their final meet before NCAA Championships on Wednesday at All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Championship (AARTFC) hosted by SUNY Cortland.
First-year
Sam Wechsler competed in a pair of events on Wednesday as she finished fourth in the long jump with her mark of 5.67 meters. She followed by recording a time of 15.09 in the 100-meter hurdle prelims that placed her ninth overall.
Senior
Jacqueline Allen was the lone thrower competing for the Bears and registered a mark of 44.51 meters in the hammer throw to finish 19th overall in her final collegiate meet.
A pair of Bears competed in the 5,000 meters as senior
Samantha Grubb capped her Ursinus career with a time of 18:58.89 while junior
Ryann Wauthier crossed the line at 19:38.86.
Ursinus concludes competition in the two-day event tomorrow, May 16th starting at 10:00 a.m.
