MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Ursinus Men's Track & Field senior
Daniel Tabor wrapped up his collegiate career by competing in the 400 meter prelims at the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday evening at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium.
Tabor crossed the line at 50.24 to finish 21st in a loaded 400 meter field. It was his first individual appearance at a NCAA Championship Meet after competing three times as a member of the Bears 4x400 relay team.
Tabor, a Collegeville native and graduate of nearby Methacton, capped off a decorated Ursinus Track & Field career that saw him total 16 medals at the Centennial Indoor and Outdoor Championships with nine of them being gold medals. Tabor played an integral part in the Bears winning three straight Centennial Outdoor Track & Field Championships with his determination and leadership. He was named the Centennial Conference Most Outstanding Track Performer at the 2023 Indoor Championships and totaled 10 USTFCCCA All-Metro Region selections between the two seasons.
