MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Senior Rainah Dunham finished off an outstanding performance at the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships by earning her second First Team All-American honor of the weekend in the triple jump on Saturday night.
 
 
Dunham finished as the national runner-up in the event for the second time in her career after recording a personal and school record jump of 12.75 meters. Her jump was just off the Olympic Trials Standard at 12.80 meters and helped the Bears finish 10th as a team, the highest of any Centennial Conference school.
 
 
After a long weather delay following the first jumper going off in the afternoon, the triple jump restarted just after 8:00 p.m. Dunham fouled her first jump but quickly moved up the charts and qualified for the finals with her third jump of 12.30 meters. After her first two finals jumps ended up behind her best mark, she stunned the field by laying down her best jump of 12.75 meters to take the lead in the final round. In position to potentially win her second national title in two days, Dunham held the top spot until two-time defending Triple Jump National Champion Victoria Kadiri won the title on the final jump of the day at 13.04 meters.
 
 
Dunham completes arguably the most decorated individual season of any Ursinus Women's Track & Field athlete in program history behind becoming the first program National Champion in the Long Jump on Thursday. Between the Indoor and Outdoor seasons, Dunham earned a combined four First Team All-American honors in the Long and Triple Jump. Dunham won gold in both events at the Centennial Outdoor Track & Field Championships and was named the Women's Most Outstanding Performer at the Meet. The Phoenixville native and Methacton graduate holds both indoor and outdoor school records while earning USTFCCCA All-Region honors four times this year.
