GALLOWAY, N.J. – The Ursinus Women's Cross Country team battled a field of schools from all three NCAA Divisions at Stockton's Osprey Open on Saturday morning.
On warm and humid morning, the Bears finished 10th overall among 20 schools with 269 points and was eighth among Division III schools on the 6k course.
Junior
Mia Sideris paced the Bears for the second-straight week as the top Bears finisher on her personal best time of 23:32.98 which was good for 7th overall and fourth among Division III runners. Senior
Ryann Wauthier placed 48th overall and second among the Bears after crossing the line at 25:17.61 while first-year
Mary Acar finished in 57th with her time of 25:32.80 in the 6K race.
First-year
Elizabeth Dill placed fourth among the Bear runners and 103rd overall with her time of 27:16.64 and junior
Kirra Norling was just behind in 109th on her time of 27:35.98. Senior
Candace Hudson crossed the line at 28:20.91 and junior
Veronica Filippone followed with her time of 28:36.84.
First-year
Lindsay Solomon (28:52.60) and junior
Corrine Martello (29:02.80) completed the field of the Bear runners.
The Bears have two weeks off before returning to action on Saturday, October 5th at the annual Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University.
