LANCASTER, Pa. – The Ursinus Men's Track & Field team battled to the very end of the 2025 Centennial Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships on Sunday at Franklin & Marshall's Schnader Field House. The Bears added seven more medals to their tally on day two.
Ursinus finished with 132 points as a team to earn a fourth-straight runner up finish and eighth runner-up finish overall in the Championship meet. For the weekend, the Bears earned 10 medals as a team behind two golds, four silvers, and four bronze.
Junior
James Sims III successfully defended his high jump title to earn the Bears lone gold medal of the day as he matched his career best by clearing the bar at 1.95 meters. It was also the third straight indoor high jump gold medal for the Bears behind two from Sims and one from
Markel Roberts-Jackson in 2023. Sophomore
Jaxon Geddio garnered a medal in the indoor high jump for the second straight season as he took home a bronze this time with his mark of 1.90 meters. Junior
David Piotrowski finished fifth with a career best high jump mark of 1.85 meters and Roberts-Jackson was ninth at 1.75 meters. First-year
Andy Zigbuo impressed by claiming the bronze medal in the long jump at 6.52 meters while junior
Cole Jackson claimed points in the event in eighth at 6.28 meters while placing ninth in the triple jump at 13.16 meters.
Junior
Aiden Tobin garnered the bronze medal in the 200 meter dash on his time of 22.24 and placed fourth in the 60 meter dash at 7.03. Junior
Patrick Ryan claimed a bronze medal as well in the 60 meter hurdles with his time of 8.93 and led four Bears in the race. Senior
Devon Greaves was fourth at an 8.97 while first-year
Kyle Cummings was fifth with a personal best time of 9.01 and sophomore
Dylan Baer was eighth on a 9.26. Senior
Paul Faggioli led the Bears in the 800 meters in 10th with his season best time of 1:59.15 while junior
Liam Johnston paced Ursinus in the mile in seventh at a time of 4:18.53.

Tom Wood earned the silver medal in the shot put for the second straight season with his throw of 15.25 meters. Sophomore
Carter Kensil placed fifth at 13.94 meters and first-year
Noah Sanders was seventh at 12.89 meters. Senior
Chase Shaneman placed ninth in the shot put with a career best throw of 12.58 meters and junior
Sean Barrera rounded out the top-10 with his mark of 12.51 meters.

Ethan Chambers claimed the silver medal in the heptathlon after amassing 3,497 points and sophomore
Devon Bock rose to fourth on the final day with a total of 3.527 points.
The Bears will return to action on Friday, March 7th as they will compete at the two-day AARTFC Championship hosted by Ithaca College beginning at 10:00 a.m.
