LANCASTER, Pa. – Two members of the Ursinus College women's basketball team earned All-Centennial Conference honors, announced by the conference office on Wednesday morning.
Senior forward
Chinwe Irondi became just the third player in Centennial history to become a four-time first team selection and was named the Conference's Player of the Year. Junior forward
Madison Smith represented Ursinus on the Honorable Mention Team. Irondi becomes just the second Bear in program history to be named Centennial Player of the Year, joining Ellen Cosgrove from the 1995 season.
Irondi is also just the third player in conference history to win both the Rookie of the Year and Player of the Year awards in a career, alongside Gettysburg's Emily Gibbons and Emma Dorshimer. The Waldorf, Maryland native averaged a double-double across 26 games this season and led the Centennial in scoring (20.2 ppg), rebounding (10.0), and field goal percentage (60.9%). She set a career high in points on November 16th by scoring 33 and collecting 10 rebounds against Neuman. The senior forward scored 20 or more points in 15 games this season, totaled 13 double-doubles, including a 31-point, 16-rebound performance in the Bears' victory over Muhlenberg. Irondi wraps up an outstanding career by ranking second all-time in Bears' program history with 1,818 career points and 1,015 career rebounds.
Smith started 24 games for the Bears this season and ranked second on the team averaging 11.9 points per game and 6.2 rebounds per contest. She finished in double figures in 20 games this season and set a new career-high in points behind a 21-point, 10-rebound performance in the Bears' victory over Misericordia. Smith finished with four doubles-doubles and closed out the season by averaging 13.6 points per game and 6.5 rebounds per game over the final six contests.

Charlotte DiLello represented the Bears on the Centennial All-Sportsmanship team.
