ITHACA, N.Y. - The Ursinus Men's Track & Field sent athletes to compete in the two-day AARTFC Championships hosted by Ithaca College this weekend.

The meet served as a last chance opportunity to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships next weekend at Nazareth College.

On Friday, first-year
Mitchell Davis finished second in the pole vault in a narrow battle after clearing the bar at 4.76 meters. Davis has already met the NCAA Indoor Provisional Qualifying mark for the pole vault back in January. Senior
Tom Wood finished 10th in the shot put after posting a throw of 14.74 meters.

Junior
James Sims III recorded a sixth place finish in the high jump on Saturday after clearing the bar at 1.93 meters. Junior
Aiden Tobin finished 10th in the 200 meters with a time of 22.24 and senior
Mason Jolivette recorded a time of 23.22. Junior
Liam Johnston crossed the line at 4:30.01 in the mile to finish 15th overall.

The Bears will await bids to the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championship meet starting next Friday, March 14th at Nazareth College.
