LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Ursinus Men's Track & Field team wrapped up its weekend at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic on Sunday afternoon.
Sophomore
Jayden McKeen kept his consistency going in the javelin as he recorded a throw of 66.38 meters and finished second overall while being the top Division III athlete in the event. Senior
Chase Shaneman was eighth overall and second to McKeen in Division III athletes in the javelin with a throw of 57.01 meters. Junior
Cole Jackson recorded a mark of 12.48 meters in the triple jump as the lone Bears competitor in the event.
In sprints, junior
Aiden Tobin competed in a pair of events on Sunday. He started his day by recording a time of 10.90 and was 31st overall. Later in the afternoon, Tobin put together a season best time of 21.94 in the 200 meters that was second among all Division III runners and finished 23rd overall in the middle of Division I and II runners. Tobin currently sits third in each event now for the Centennial Conference. Sophomore
James Long-Stratton and senior
Mason Jolivette competed in the 100 meters as well and finished within .1 of each other with times of 11.20 and 11.21, respectively. Senior
Devon Greaves paced a trio of Bears in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 16.40 and was followed by sophomore
Dylan Baer on a 16.81 and first-year
Kyle Cummings with 17.53. Cummings also posted a time of 54.26 in the 400 meter dash. Greaves recorded a time of 58.19 in the 400 meter hurdles and Jolivette was next for the Bears with a 59.45 and Baer tallied a time of 59.98.
Ursinus returns to action on Friday, April 18th as they will begin the two-day Paul Donahue Invitational at Widener.
