PHILADELPHIA – The Ursinus Men's Track & Field team had multiple athletes compete on the second day of the 129th annual Penn Relays hosted by the University of Pennsylvania at Franklin Field on Friday.
The Bears had senior
Chase Shaneman compete in a pair of throwing events, first-year
Mitchell Davis in the pole vault, and two relay teams compete on day two.
Shaneman opened his day by throwing a career best 48.63 meters in the College Men's Discus Throw and finished 10th overall while being the top Division III athlete in the event. He then posted a throw of 53.51 meters in College Men's Javelin Throw to finish 17th overall.
Davis matched his outdoor season high of 4.85 meters in the College Men's Pole Vault and tied for sixth overall as the top Division III athlete in the meet.

Andy Zigbuo, sophomore
James Long-Stratton, junior
Aiden Tobin, and senior
Mason Jolivette finished 13th overall with a time of 43.14. and the 4x400 Pop Haddleton team of Long-Stratton, Tobin, senior
Devon Greaves, and senior
David Kenny posted a time of 3:24.27 and finished seventh overall.
Sophomore
Jayden McKeen took center stage on Saturday for the Bears and competed in the College Men's Javelin Championship. McKeen recorded a throw of 60.46 meters to finish ninth overall.
