WAYNESBORO, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's golf team wrapped up its 2025 campaign with a seventh-place finish at the Centennial Conference Championships on Sunday afternoon.
Five Bears competed at Waynesboro Country Club, a par-72 course that spans 6,596 yards. Ursinus posted a team score of 363 in the final round for a three-day total of 1,014, placing seventh overall. No. 17 Gettysburg won the team title with a final tally of 884. Franklin & Marshall (892) finished second, while McDaniel (896) rounded out the top three.
Sophomore
Brandon Mongan led the Bears by finishing 29th overall. He signed for an 84 in his final round and totaled a three-day score of 249 after rounds of 85 and 80. Mongan recorded a birdie on the par-5 eighth hole, carding a 41 on his front nine before finishing with a 43 on the back.
Sophomore
Trevor Maden placed 33rd, shooting an 88 in his final round to finish with a total score of 255. He tallied five pars during his round, including three straight to close out his final holes.
Junior
Jimmy Cage tied for 34th with a three-round total of 257. He shot 86, 81 and 90, highlighted by a birdie on the par-4 first hole and an eagle on the 430-yard par-4 16th. Cage was one of only two players to card an eagle on the hole during the tournament.
First-year
Aidan Bonczek and junior
Billy Breslin tied for 36th, each recording a total score of 259. Bonczek posted rounds of 85, 87 and 87, with seven pars in his final round. Breslin shot 83, 85 and 91, and birdied the opening hole of his final round.
