Davis Claims Second Team All-American Honors in Pole Vault at NCAA Champs

GENEVA, Ohio – First-year Mitchell Davis capped an outstanding collegiate debut campaign by claiming Second Team All-American honors in the pole vault at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday afternoon at the SPIRE Complex.

Davis tied for 10th after clearing the bar at 4.85 meters for his second All-American nod of the track & field year after claiming All-American status at the NCAA Indoor Championships in March. His Indoor All-American honor was second team as well. Aiden Anderson of St. Norbert completed a 2025 NCAA National Championship sweep of the pole vault.

Davis compiled one of the greatest seasons by a first-year athlete at Ursinus with two Second Team All-American nods and by sweeping the Centennial Conference pole vault titles between the indoor and outdoor seasons. The top pole vault athlete in the Metro Region for 2025, blitzed both Ursinus school pole vault records and was named the Centennial Conference Indoor Field Athlete of the Year.
