Four Men's T&F Members Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

Full Team

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. –
Four members of the Ursinus Men's Track & Field team were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Track & Field/Cross Country team as announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.

Graduate Eric Chambers, rising seniors Aiden Tobin and Patrick Ryan plus Jayden McKeen represented the Bears on the team.

Academic All-District recognizes student-athletes for their performance both on the field and in the classroom as honorees must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and be a key starter/reserve for their respective team.

An applied economics graduate, Chambers finishes his time at Ursinus as a three-time CSC Academic All-District recipient as he competed on cross country and track & field for the Bears. He added a third straight outdoor All-Region in the decathlon nod after resetting his own school record at the Centennial Championships. Chambers earned the silver medal with 5,309 points and had the second-highest point total in the Metro Region.

Tobin, a biochemistry and molecular biology major, earned his second straight CSC Academic All-District nod. He garnered honorable mention in the 200 meters behind claiming the bronze with his time of 21.99 at both the Centennial Outdoor and Indoor Championships. Tobin was an All-Region selection for the event during the Indoor Season as well.

Ryan, a mathematics and computer science major, had his best season to date at Ursinus between the indoor and outdoor seasons. He earned second team honors for the first time in his career after taking the silver medal in the 110-meter hurdles at the Centennial Outdoor Championships behind a career best time of 15.70. That came off the heels of garnering honorable mention following his bronze medal at the Centennial Indoor Championships.

A biochemistry and molecular biology major, McKeen finished third in the javelin at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in late May for All-American First Team honors. McKeen led both the Centennial Conference and Metro Region in the javelin with his career best throw of 68.31 meters set at the Ursinus Track & Field Festival in early April. He earned his second straight silver medal for the event at the Centennial Outdoor Championships and was named the Centennial Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Year. He earned spots on the Academic All-Centennial team, Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll, and PhillySIDA Academic All-Area as well.
