LANCASTER, Pa. – After another record-breaking week, sophomore
Noah Sanders was named the Centennial Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week for the second straight week, announced by the Conference on Tuesday morning.
Sanders repeated as Field Athlete of the Week after another record-setting performance in the weight throw. A week after tying the Centennial Conference and Ursinus school records in the weight throw, Sanders delivered a throw of 18.02 to finish fifth (first among Division III competitors) and set new conference and school standards. His mark broke the previous record of 18.00 that was held by him and former Ursinus standout Isaiah Battle. The throw ranks 21st in Division III this season.
The Bears have won three Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honors this season along with sophomore
Mitchell Davis back in December.
The Bears return to action on Friday, February 20th as they will compete in Haverford's Keogh Invitational at 4:30 p.m. Ursinus will host the Hammer Throw on Thursday, February 19
th at 4:30 p.m.
